Welcome to Between Us AI (“Between Us”, “Boo”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. What Between Us AI is

Between Us AI is a communication tool in which two people each talk privately with the same AI assistant (“Boo”). Boo helps you understand each other, reframe messages, and work through conflict. Boo is not a therapist, doctor, lawyer, or crisis service, and it does not provide medical, psychological, or legal advice. It is not a substitute for professional help or for emergency services.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to use Between Us AI. By using the app you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Your account

You sign in with Apple. You are responsible for activity that happens through your account and for keeping your device secure. You may delete your account at any time from within the app; doing so removes your data as described in our Privacy Policy.

4. Pairing

You connect with one partner at a time using an invite code. Either person may end the pairing at any time. When a pairing ends, Boo stops carrying messages between you.

5. Acceptable use

• Do not use the app to harass, threaten, abuse, or harm another person.
• Do not use the app for anything illegal, or to share content you have no right to share.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service or its AI.

6. AI content

Boo’s responses are generated by artificial intelligence and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate for your situation. You are responsible for your own decisions. Use your judgment, and seek a qualified professional for important matters.

7. Crisis

Between Us AI is not for emergencies. If you or someone else is in danger or experiencing a crisis, contact your local emergency number or a professional crisis line immediately.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The app is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
